My next PC will have XP64 on it, NOT Vista!  Good god.  I worked as an alpha tester on 'Longhorn' which sounds like the direct linear ancestor of Vista.  I compared notes with a girl I knew, who was a beta-tester on Vista, and does occasional  consulting with some of the security agencies.

She didn't like Vista. It has major faults because they rushed it to market without complete testing.  Up until the last deadline, MS kept adding things to Vista, and not all of them were tested for something that is a KILLER--cross-compatibility.

Titanic is the wrong analogy, I think.  This ship is so big, it can run into itself! :lol:  The end result is the same, however.
