IF you have good drivers for all your peripherals, and if you have more than 2GB of physical memory (RAM), then yes, imo it's very worth it. I currently run Windows XP 64 (not Vista) and I'm very happy with it so far. The 32-bit software I have runs very well, and 64-bit apps (Vue 6 Infinite e.g.) work much better. 64-bit software has no practical limit for RAM it can allocate, which is pretty cool; 32-bit software is still limited to 3GB, which you could get to under XP 32 with some tweaking.
