Encrypted (copy-protected) items work for all your Vue versions you have registered at the moment you download the item. And nowhere else. I "tested" that because I bought a Vue Pro Studio after the others and there the protected items do not load while they load fine in all my other Vue versions I have.

Since Vur 6 pre-release there is a change in policy to what I described. Before that it was even more tight, the items definitely worked only for the license you downloaded it for. Now this has changed a little and is easier for all of us with more than one license. So a transfer in my eyes as it is planned here is not possible for encrypted items.
