Kiwi if you do want to travel the Nullabor make sure you plan it out well and you carry plenty of water and food you can cook on the side of the road. Reason i tell you this is the last time i travelled the Nulla a cup of coffee cost nearly $3.00, steak and salad was around $11.00, ltr petrol was up around $1.30(15 years ago) oh plus sleeping is another thing you want to plan as well, it cost me and the wife $125 for a double room 1 night and i actually slept better in the car than i did in that bed.
