Having made a couple of pieces of clothing I can tell you (at least for me!) the morphs are the hardest part. Not only do you have to deform your mesh to fit the new body shape, you need to do it in such a way that the TEXTURE doesn;t stretch and distort into a real mess. Which is one of the reasons hand morphing in a 3D app tends to have a better final "look" than the output of the helper programs... you control where the stretching and the amount of stretching takes place, BUT it is more time consuming and somewhat tedious work often involving moving MANY individual vetices to get the right look.
