That's why I also find it easiest to make corrections in the Poser workspace then export as .obj. If I start with a prop that has external geometry, I can open (or import it) in Poser, make changes with scale, Grouping Tool, magnets, combine it with other objects....export the entire mess, name it the same as the original object.....now when I click on the old library entry I get my old prop with all the old materials and settings, but new geometry (and still external). (Just this weekend modified a pair of easy-pose instrument cables; imported both to Poser, selected the cord from one and the ends from the other, exported the franken-object, and by making a duplicate of one of the original cr2's I now have a completely new figure).
