Step 3- now, in Production mode. I get these convex surfaces on the thing, and have seen this happen before with another pic. WTF? Anyone who knows where I'm going wrong is free to point it out.

The object was imported into Poser with no changes in settings. I tried 'weld identical vertices', but no difference there.
