bopperthijs, "smooth polygons" is on. I usually try to keep that checked for every render, unless it starts inflating objects. I had no idea that it could also affect reflections. Good to know! Thanks!
After my last post last night, I tried moving V4 to the upper portion of the floor, with all the other props. The reflections showed up perfectly, and I ended up getting a better composition. Tried to do a large render but it was chugging along so slowly that I had to leave it rendering when I went to bed. When I woke up this morning it had crapped out just after rendering her head. sigh Guess I'll just have to try again at a smaller size.
jimmy1 and richardson, I will definitely give those a try today and see what happens! That must be what my problem is! I wasn't really paying attention when I loaded the scene and I just assumed the bottom portion of the floor had loaded at ground level. Heh.
