And I have been sued, have sued, and have received enough lawyer loveletters enough times to know that until I am walking into court nothing really happens.

Besides you bought the scene, right.  You are not saying it is yours, everyone knows it is not yours, everyone knows who the artist is, and you are not making any money off of it.  No lawyer could ever forge a viable case against you, if these are the circumstances.

Your idea IS for learning purposes.  And being afraid to explore and learn the product, because someone says,,,"oOH, you better be afraid of the law-yers", is just silly to me.

That said, I like the first render better.  But will give the idea a shot between my own renders, given the time and chance.  I still think it is a great idea.  And if anyone wants to sue me, they can PM me and I will give them the contact information to do so.
