I'm with Gill on this one.  Like her, I've been using Mailwasher for over 4 years now and have it set to display my Friends list and unknowns only.  When I mark something for the Blacklist it never shows up again and is automatically deleted when I process my legitimate email into Outlook.

This has prevented multiple virii that I know of and even more that I don't know of.  I only download and open mail from trusted sources since I can access just about any link from the Mailwasher screen.  Believe it or not, I'm accessing this thread from inside Mailwasher and not Outlook.

See Gill's link for more information.  There's a free, ad-supported version and a paid, non-ad version.  The cost for the paid version is only $20 USD the last time I looked and that includes lifetime upgrade and tech support.  I've lost my key a couple of times and they've always generated a new one for me, no questions asked once I verified the account information.
