Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 21 6:06 am)
Looks like the nipple morphs (if dialed on Vicky) are not supported in the clothing item (or you have to find and dial them manually). There can be a problem with the Collars JCMs too (from what I see in the upper chest pokethrough) - mostly you need to dial them manually too in Poser. Some clothes have the dials on the Body part and some have them in the chest and both collars - look for something like "l/rCollarBend" or "l/rCollarUp". Hope this helps somehow :) Michal 4blueyes
First, make sure that the clothing is for the figure and any CHARACTER MORPH you may be using.
Second, check the Body and/or the collar groups to see if there are corrrection morphs for shoulders up, shldr up etc.
Third, if you have used a morph to give V3 larger nipples the clothing doesn;t appear to made to accomodate them.
V3 has Joint Controled morphs that raise the breasts when the shoulders are raised and vice versa. Some clothing have morphs that make this adjustment automatically, others have to have the correction made manually with a morph dial.
Remember, unlike real clothing (or clothing used in the cltoh room) poser conforming clothing is more like plastic than cloth, so it's not really universal.

LOL helpage.
In your folders that came with v4 you'll find magnets. I think its props, could be wrong. Click on the magnet for chest, and then select it in the workspace. You should be able to pull the magnet out a fraction and the shirt will move out along with it.
In any other instance, if you dont want to do that, select the chest part of the shirt, and go to your dials on the right, and use the scale dials, just a little bit. Since your chest area isnt completely hanging out of the shirt, a bit of scaling (probably z scale) should just cover them nice nice.
OK, let's take this back a ste or three!
First: Is this V3 or V4? I assumed it was V3 but others are assuming it's V4.
Note: If you are using clothing made for V3 on V4, there is no simple way to make the clothing work with the figure.
Second: Just what is the name of the clothing items? I'd like to check over the items to see what morphs are available in them.
Note: V3 requires morphs to match the figure's internal Joint Controled Morphs, which create more realistic "movement" in the figure. V4 on the other hand uses a, realitively, new system of magnet poses for match the clothing to the magnets which have replaced JCMs.
Still the main thing is that the clothing must be made for the figure.

You still haven't answered any of the questions. I see how you came up with your pseudonym, ComplexDarkness. You're making this complex and keeping us all in the dark... ;P
Which figure are you using? Victoria 3? Victoria 4? That makes the entire difference.
V4 uses magnets to form clothing to work with V4 morphs.
V3 doesn not. For V3, the morphs must also be on the clothing that match those being used on the V3 figure or you have to do some work to circumvent poke-through and morph-through. Usually this work involves - er - Poser magnets. Look 'em up - they're in the manual. :)

Thanks, modus. I suspected as much - missed that in the larger picture. Well, now it's time for someone to describe how Poser magnets work. Most likely, being freebie V3 clothing, they don't come with a large stock of V3 complimentary [sic] morphs. It's rare to find a good coverage in commercial clothing.

there are morphs in the body of the skirt including sitting morphs. There are also morphs in the hip of the skirt
The downlaod page, when you click on the pic of the skirt, has these instructions and morph listing
You'll find this item under the folder of Poser - Figures > Meanderings EveryDay.
After conforming, if you select the BODY of this item, you have access to 15 dials:
NOTE: This item use JCM automatic morph system, you need to have your V3 character loaded and selected before loading and conforming this item.
There are no morphs in the shirt

Well I've just finished trying both the skirt and the wifebeater shirt.
The skirt has all of the morphs necessary fo fit any poser V3 can make within reason, HOWEVER there are supposed to be Joint Controlled Morphs for bending the legs, twisting, etc. These are in the HIP group and use names like "JCM_TR_BendF". These JCMs don;t appear to work automatically (at least I couldn;t get them to work with out manually operating the dials!) but need to be dialed in by hand. Not sure where the problem is in the CR2 that causes them not to work but there it is. Dialed by hand the work just fine,
the shirt has NO morphs in it so certain "extreme" pose just won't work without poke thru. In particular poses the move the Collar groups up or down to any great extent are going to cause th type of poke thru your experienceing. THis is stated in the readme files.
Hey these are Freebies after all. They are nicely modeled and very useful models you just have to learn their limits and use them in that range. Both poses you are showing have the collar groups bent to an extreme. Try something a little less aggressive and the shirts will work fine, either that or find a shirt with the collar morphs included.

Quote - thank u so much//and no morphs in the shirt? does that mean it wouldnt be able too fit?
It will only fit the default V3 body unless you use magnets or something on the shirt

Hi ComplexDarkness and trav,
Sorry for delay... :(
The miniskirt was tested in P4, PP, P5, P6 and P7 and the automatic JCM works.
You need to load V3 as a first figure in the scene then:
The miniskirt automatic JCM's (to apply the right rotation like twist, bend and side) need to read the character (V3).
Hope help you and have a nice day, Mav :)
P.S. Sorry for my poor english
Mavris
Retested per your instructions and yes the JCMs do work. Sorry if you felt I was making bad press on your freebie! I think you make some of the slickest free stuff out there, more exactly they are every bit the quality of most items sold in the market place!
BTW even loaded incorrectly the morphs worked more than adiquately by hand, so I would have been satisfied byt that alone.
