  I have been wondering why no one has not mentioned the preview option to do any editing before uploading an image.

  I use this option all the time. It saves me from many spelling mistakes. I also use it to proof my thumbnail.
  I hate doing the math to get the most bytes for the thumbnail. I have had the preview fail me 2 times. Both before I read in this forum that the thumbnail part of the program had a glitch in it. That glitch was fixed within a day or two.
