Unfortunately, all this talk about politics is clouding the real issue.  No matter who is elected, they are going to have to balance a domestic policy with a foreign policy better.  For example, the DOJ is struggling to balance criminal investigations with counterterrorism.  Whatever your opinion of the war is, the fact is that our resources are drying up.  No opinions about each of the 2008 candidates changes that fact.
