One-click photorealism is, no doubt, coming. It just isn't here yet. And probably won't be for several more years.
I believe that the day is coming when you'll be able to create digital clones of anyone -- and then put them into movies which you've "directed" on your own PC. But we aren't there yet. At least not without high-end apps and mega-powerful machines. Which puts it well out of the reach of the vast majority of people -- for now.
Yes -- there might someday be a new cottage industry of truly "indie" films for sale/download on the internet -- films which have no human actors at all. But they look like they're real.
Will it ever be possible for a software investment of $200? I doubt it -- but who knows?
