Ryan,

Vue 6 has a number of nice features outside the Spectral Atmosphere you also may be interested in. They have better and more kinds of anti-aliasing, so it's much easier to render scenes without the 'noise' artifacts we've been accustomed to in Vue 5. Also, the post processing now has a number of super effects. Included among them are my 3 favorites;

  1. Natural Film response;
  2. Automatic Exposure (with settings)
    and my favorite:
  3. Fully adjustable Lens Glare which gives a Specular Bloom effect to the rendering, much like a real camera.

All those added to a Terragen like rendering engine (Spectral Atmosphere) and you have a much easier time of creating photoreal images.
