Since I don't upload. (I'm a lousy artist) I'd have to say that it really doesn't matter. I usually do a search for a particular item I need. I've been know to spend a day or more searching through both the free and marketplace areas for items I need for my games. I've gotten 3ds out of props, poseable props, bryce, and even 3ds! Most of the time an item is in the wrong place, has the wrong name, or is so unrelated to the ID the artist gave it, that it's amazing half of the stuff gets downloaded at all! For example I want a gun, not an uzi, not a hand laser, not a revolver, not a pistol, not an AR-15, a gun! If you do a search for a "gun" none of these items would show up in a search. Not even if you do a search for a "weapon." You have to know it there, exactly what it's called, or the artist. Two or three generic terms of items would be helpful, if everybody would do it. I just did an artist by artist, page by page, tour of the marketplace. I found a Minotaur, a Zombie, and a Lizard man/woman, that don't show up in a search of "monsters." It's like I said, I'm not an artist, I'm the end-user. There are lots of item people would buy or DL if they knew they were there. Make searches easier! Who cares about the categories? I want this or that item! And THAT is why we have a search function. Next time you post think about it.
