*"One of my goals was to remove as much reliance on the filenaming as possible and consolidating target actor info into one file helps accomplish that, but your code already has mechanisms in place to look for files based on actor names, so it's not that important vs complications it might cause you to get the info merged - just go with what you're comfortable with."

*Well, you did kind of say that if I was okay with the datapath handling, you were okay.  So I kind of built a few things on it.  cough

But I'm really most interested in doing this the best way, not necessarily the easiest.  Sometimes these overlap.  I think this can be a nice Poser utility.  No point in letting Cage kludge it up too much, even if he started the darned thing.  :)  So don't cave in to me on something like this if you really think a revision to datafile/path handling would be a serious improvement.  But don't be surprised when it takes me a while to build myself up to changing it, either....  :-P

Guess what?  Guess what?  It's really cool.  It's neat.  The UV transfer works pretty much as I anticipated.  Check out the attached image.  There are some flaws to be worked out (the current form can't do anything with UV seams, and it hangs when I try to test with the Vickies), but it passed the two balls test with flying colors.  Neat-o.

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.
