Vue will import .OBJ files, no problem there.
I've never tried exporting from Poser as .obj and then importing into Vue, however. I did so for Bryce and promptly ran into the well known transparency problem.
When you import a .pz3 from Poser into Vue, transparency maps import as they should.
When you import a .pz3 from Poser into Vue Infinite, or another Vue version with the Mover plugin, you have the option to import the entire animation, or to import a single frame from the animation. This last feature is the one I use when I import a .pz3 with dynamic cloth into Vue.
