ok .... I'll bite, what's the well known transparency problem in Bryce?? I'm sure I've run into it, but then I'm one for applying mats from Bryce rather than expecting Poser to do it for me, so I don't even bother with mats in Poser.
and .... my answer was really based on my experience with Bryce (because I know that better than Vue .... so come to think of it, maybe I shouldn't have answered it ... but too late for that idea), and I am used to exporting out to obj for dynamic cloth.
since I don't render in Poser, I have no real need for the materials room (although I have learned something about nodes for the sake of learning how to create conforming clothing). Most of the time, when I bring something over into Bryce to start working on it, it's all white ... no materials at all, unless I assigned them in my modeling program.
Could be worse, could be raining.
