BTW, I read that also UVMapper is able to perform the cleaning job. A well known cause of trouble among applications are silent limits on the number of vertices per face: the OBJ format theoretically can handle un unlimited amount of vertices per face, but actual applications can create troubles starting from 5 (and sometime less) vertices...
