My understanding is that most of the fairies, starting with the one from DAZ are based on or similar in size to the New Young Woman model (who isn't as "endowed"). If you start with clothing for the NYW and modify theose pieces you should have less trouble. I'd also suggest talking to Traveler, also known as Morphing Man, because he is perhaps the best at getting things to fit once you've changed the underlying shape.
