Hi..hopefully following may resolve the issue...
Click Start > Connect To > Show All Connections...
Select your Broadband account icon
Right Click > Properties
Click Options and under 'Idle time before hanging up' check to see of it is selected to "never" of not then choose 'never'
Other options open to you is to fool around in the registry which I don't recommend unless you have some experience doing so.
