I have disabled comments on some images a while back, but quickly got the request to allow comments again. I disabled them for various reasons... because I didn't comment myself, and because I wasn't happy with the fact that some people expressly comment on every image except mine (probably because I don't comment back). I understand now that disabling comments is like denying people a voice to speak out, in some way and to some extent. I think alot of people who comment do this because they want to express something, not because they expect something back... and that's great. As for the ones who disable comments: that's just fine with me... the Photography gallery is there to show images, strictly speaking, not to write about it... that's a different gallery alltogether ;o))
