of course VUE has no realtime rendering capabilities. It was never intended for.
For most of the scenes, VUE IS intended for, this will be true for the next decades, because, even if computer speed doubles every year, it takes 17 years until VUE would be able to render a film (25/30 fps) in realtime, when a single frame renders one hour today.
3ds max, for instance, doesn't have realtime render capabilities either, but, with a plugin (RTRE) , you can get realtime renders in a kind of preview(low, low) quality.
