Andreas, perhaps I felt the ones who do not allow comments are more confident in the image and their abilities than I am.  As for comments received, I judge the value by the knowledge I have of the commentator.  Some are fluff and fun..others more serious and to be taken that way. At least, that is how I see it.

Maybe I just enjoy getting comments! Still, for my personal thought, that does not make or break the image unless I have really screwed up and can see that from the comments..time for edit again or what.
