Debby, file size does not have much to do with accuracy of the model. Maybe you do a comparison of the different formats of  pixel images. BMP versus jpg, versus tif versus ... You see the same content with VERY different file sizes. And all behave in Photoshop or Paintshop Pro the same. I think this is simply the case here too.
