HEX2? Hexagon 2? From my experience with XP, Poser and Hexagon, I'd check the video driver. Both benefited from better OpenGL support than Microsoft provided. Often, programme compatibility listings on the box are as much a question of what the manufacturer is willing to answer questions about as about what actually works.
