It seems that a number of Russian sites subscribe to that "click for revenue" and it usually involves a horrid trojan called "CoolWebSearch" which is a real PITA to get rid of.  There is no easy way other than to reformat your computer or spend weeks trolling through your various directories deleting file after file.
