If you will partition your hard drive, which you should do before installing any resource hungry program. Partition the hard drive so that the OS is separate from everything else and with enough virtual memory to handle a load. Then you can partition again, that's 3 drives on 1 drive, and put one version of Vue on one of the drives and put your final version of Vue on the other drive. I have this on mine as we speak so that I may check the 'Finale Version', before I delete the ‘PRE’. My last Vue 6 Esprit image had 552million plus polys and at one point had 18billion and except for some slowing my puter down, I had no other issues and built and rendered it all in the Finale Version, but I am running a DualCore with 4 GHz of PC 6400 ram.
