Yes, that's exactly my problem - all I can get it jaggy lines.  

I must admit, I was a 99% psp user till I started using Photoshop brushes, then as I got more used to the proggy, now I'm at most a 5% psp user.  Photoshop is really much better for most things.  Though for some reason, psp has much better jpg saving options than ps.
