*"Ok, a framework for Poser Python scripts is a bit longer on my To-Do list now. Some sort of infrastructure any script may use."
*Thank you. Even if this current script doesn't work out, what you have planned will benefit everyone. :)
I think I may have found a problem that could be causing the P7 crash. The indentation on the line which actually sets the deltas is incorrect, so it may be called in cases where one of the variables on which it depends hasn't been defined. I hadn't noticed this in my tests, because it's set up in a try-except case, so when it errors due to the bad structure, it simply skips over it. But P7 has a different version of Python and it may have different exception handling, so I suspect this may be the cause of the crashing. I hope.
But the parenting offset problems continue to confound me. Among other troubles, WorldVertex coords can't be used as a point of reference to set deltas within the callback loop. Trying this causes bizarre fluctuations of the delta position. Weird.

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking. He apologizes for this. He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.
Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below. His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.
