Every king and emperor and major city has minted its own coins at some point in its history, so nobody can be expected to have all of them (although those collectors are trying). Your associate has an incredible collection of very nice coins. My RPG character, Phoenicia (she is the phoenix, which took the group forever to figure out), has a genuine Phoenician coin (goddess of luck on one side, victory on the other... how can I lose a coin toss?). I have another character, descended from the Dacians, so scoured online coin catalogs hunting for the appropraiate coin for her. Found Roman coins commemorating the victory over Dacia.
