i can't speak for others, but i don't care if someone doesn't even have a gallery, let alone use poser to render.  it's great to get advice about how to solve a problem, but i think it's much better to have critiques outside of what  people understand as the limitations of the software.  for instance, how many times do people get told to correct v4's high cut shoulder? or make shapes glow appropriately?  or to correct any one of the numerous weak points of poser and poser content?  very infrequently, in my experience.  because we know the limits, i believe we think within them instinctively and unconsciously.  for poser, at least, i feel this means that people outside the community look at poser work, see the same mistakes over and over, and  get the impression all poser work is the same.  that it's the work of the software and not the artist,  and that it all has the same inherent weaknesses.   i'd rather have someone who knows maya tell me what's wrong with a figure's skin, or someone who knows vue tell me my outdoor lighting and leaf materials are off.

not that i'll ever get to post at this rate.  d|s just ate a picture i'd been working on for some time.  i wish it were person so i could give it a nice hard left hook to the body.
