I bought P6 a few month ago, andin general I like it.,but I find E-F& CP attitude to customers problems/queries very strange. As though customers are realy a nuisance and their life would be so much better if we disappear... First I had problems with the Mac demo I downloaded which apparantly didnt work at all. In response to my e-mail query I was asked a lot of questions about my computer which I answered and then...nothing.no response at all. Their ticket system is a mystery to me.I opened one a while ago and never got any response. I managed to sort the problem out myself, but they should have said something.
The latest problem I had was with their weekly freebees. I get their e-mail newslaters on the wed. so I thought the "week"lasts to the following wed. Due to the DNS problems they had recently I didnt manage to get on CP till the following Mon and then it wasnt free. The one and only response I ever got from them (efgirl) with a snipet of usefull info was that their "week" begins on Friday. So by the time we get the newsletter there are only 2 days left! I never encountered merchants who announce their promotion when it's nearly over!
It is their privilede to decide what,if any, freebees/discounts they give and for how long, but how hard can it be to announce when exactly they expire and put an expiry date on the items?
My latest message to efgirl on the CP site wasnt answered. I asked that she forward my comments to someone else,if she cant sort it, but got no answers from anyone. My tickets I opened about this subject just disapeared.
It is a shame. I would have liked to buy more products from them (including P7 when it is more stable) but,as other people remarked, why should we do business with people who treat us like dirt?
Please someone at E-F /CP change your attitude to customers,it will be to your benifit too!
