The movie was for the Firefly fans, to kind of give it an ending to the story. I had a laugh at an interview late one night. This guy was claimed as an authority in scifi movies and shows. He said that the movie "Serenity" had no proper story line and made no scence of what it was about. The so called expert didn't know what "Firefly" was. That was on Coast2CoastAM. That has millions listening all over the world, so I think that helped hurt the movie in the theaters.
