Thanks for the feedback -- guess I'll stick with DAZ figures for children and youngsters. 

I was kinda hoping to consolidate under G2 or V4 at some point -- it's getting a little hazy for me with so many choices resulting from CP and DAZ duking it out for market share.

With enough effort, you can get pretty much the same results (IMHO) for a given image from G2 or DAZ figures. Of couse, a lot depends on the circumstances and I am generalizing to make a point. 

Nonetheless . . .

For some of us, the investment in meshes, morphs and textures that it takes to support two "families" of characters is getting serious. Perhaps the next gen of aftermarket converters will help pull things together. 

But it would be nice to have one main system to work with for character morphs, clothes conversions/exchanges, texture sharing, etc. 

Dreaming, ya think?

For me it's becoming a heck of a left-brain, right-brain tug-of-war  these days between technical issues and artistic expression.
