*since they cannot support xp for newer systems because of MS mandate you would not beable to get the drivers you need make the system work properly with XP.

*erm you can get all the XP drivers they do have at their support site (goes all the way back to Windows 3.11 actually..) your're just outta luck for anything new that they haven't made XP drivers for.. very little so far.

(I know this cos I can still get drivers for my old Inspiron 3200 laptop from Dell.. in Win3.11, 95,98,ME, NT3.51,NT4 and 2K flavours.. not worth looking at XP+ cos it'll never run that lol)
