That does not sound right. You can run XP on newer computer. It will run better than Vista will run most likely. I do not think there is a single Vista Only component. The other way around is true.. you may not be able to run Vista on an older machine.

Companies like HP and Dell most likely will not offer that, but local Stores might still have an XP Machine available.
