Vista was not released to the public you are right. But I have had a release candidate since November and have had several Beta releases as have all the developers I work with for over a year. No, no excuses.

Sorry I have been in IT for well over 15 years now I know how the game is played and I know when they ship shoddy code to make a buck. The stuff they release today as Gold would not have been a beta release let alone in a testing phase. No if you lived in a home or drove a car that required as many patches and updates as programs and OS's you would walk home to your cave.

We are all full price Beta testers for Bryce and Microsoft and to a limited extent Apple too. We really should not put up with it but we do and why do we I guess we do it cause we either love to settle or there is no better game in town. 

Bryce was cheap and Vista came with the computer so I have not a lot of excuses either...
