It's odd how people's experiences can differ so greatly. Everyone I know hated Windows 98, due in large part to it's tendency to develop registry errors that caused bootup problems and hanging on shutdown. SE was supposed to have fixed those glitches. Too bad you had to buy an upgrade to use a product you paid for instead of getting proper support. Of course, every Windows version would have been a much better product if Microsoft had just done away with their bloated registry system. No chance of that.
