I do the same.  I don't bounce because, as stated earlier, that gives a ping as a valid email.  I simply blacklist them and they're automatically deleted for me.  When the spammer doesn't get a response you eventually get removed.

Also, I have really good spam filters on all of my email accounts, from my ISP and from my mail server on my websites.
