On a further note - a friend of mine is working on her dissertation and was having troubles transfering files from xp (uni computers) to vista (her laptop), seems there are even Word compatability issues from what she tells me... that or user error (which i thought was one of the main focus points for creating vista - so obviously they failed there then )
