**That story is one of these urban legend type stories, it was probably made up.** ** Back around the turn of the century there was a famine in China.  People would take their kids down to the butcher shop and have them butchered for food.  There was an American sailor and I forget his name, but he acquired a taste for children while his ship was docked in China.  When he came home, he was addicted to the taste of children and became a prolific serial killer.  He would beat the children to tenderize the meat before he killed them.
