I had installed nVidia driver 158.18 prior to installing the Vue patch. 

After the patch killed Vue, I uninstalled and reinstalled Vue. Now, I would have expected Vue to behave normally again BUT... not so. When Vue opened, all the views were black (had to load an object to clear this and be able to see the windows) and the main camera view stopped updating - this would only update when I clicked on it. Vue was also extremely unstable and crashed often.

I began to suspect 158.18 driver was causing other problems - my system began to behave erratically. So yesterday I did a clean re-install of Vista and have gone back to nVidia 100.65 video driver - I know this works okay!

Even though I think 158.18 may have been somehow responsible for my Vue update woes, I am too scared to use the Vue update patch, in case it all goes pear-shaped again!!!
