You are wrong jjroland. We are now allowing links in the Freestuff forum that are to freebies offered anywhere instead of just restricting it to freebies that were uploaded to our Freestuff area. We are also still allowing linking to freestuff items in this forum when its helping someone find something and cases like that. If you will go back a few pages to the post I made after we had our meeting then you will see that we did change from the original stance on the day the Freestuff forum was opened.

A new forum was created to hold Freestuff items that were being advertised, asking for  or giving feedback on, for members "wishes" on what they want to see as a freestuff item and this was done based on the Community Survey results and member suggestions over the past few years asking for a forum such as this.
Same principle as the Suggestion forum so that all suggestions could go in one place and that has worked out well.
