Has anyone told Dell they're not offering Windows Vista as default choice on new pc's ?  see above link.

There is always plenty of 'Luddite' talk about all new technical launches. It is always the ones who say they would not try it or use it are the most vociferous in their condemnation it seems to me.  I wonder how they know it is so bad ?
