I can't say which object it is (product confidentiality), but it's just a figure that I exported from poser, and it looks like what you said - about half the polygons appear to be empty in ivygen, but not in carrara IIRC. yeah, go ahead and try the ruins, e.g. those by baument, stonemason or DM.
