I bought a SONY A100 back in December, and I love this camera. I'm new to this realm of digital photography (graduated from point and click camera), and the A100 is awesome to use. The link below is to one of my first pictures with the A100. I was able to acheive true dof with ease. I just took some gorgeous pics at Deception Pass using a 300mm lens, and the detail is incredible. If you decide to get the A100, get it with the 18-70mm zoom lens- it is a great combination.
