Hmmm in actual fact I have undertaken considerable research in this field.. The unemployment-crime relationship shows no consensus after 30 years of research... Some fellow researchers such as Mcdowell & Webb in 1995 perhaps has particular relevance and state " That often there is an Urge to achieve a certainty which simply does not exist"
Whatever you do it is difficult to bring credibility to the application of economic principles to social issues..
