I do enjoy posting my comments on the many artworks I see here. However, just the small section given for comments, while ideal for short comments, isn't the ideal forum for writing a more detailed and in-depth critique. I'd like the opportunity to be able to write a proper review of an artwork.

What I'd propose is a separate "Review" or "Critique" section which would be linked to from the artwork of choice - rather like how we "Add image" or "Add artist" at present - there could be an "Add review" button. The purpose would be to provide a much richer and deep review of an artwork, something that would be perhaps even more rewarding to the artist than being added as a favourite artist. Perhaps there could even be another listing of "Most reviewed"?

There are so many great artworks here that are worthy of much more involved engament with the viewer than the usual brief comments provided. I think a well written review would boost an artists standing within the Renderosity community as well as provide a creative outlet for the written word as well.

If you go ahead with this idea, I'd love to write the first review - I have an artwork in mind already! :-)

On the list cant promise anything right now

they are using the art theory forum for that purpose. one can paste a link to one's art theory forum thread in the comment field below the gallery image of interest.
